Blade & Sorcery Developers Building Ambitious New VR Title

A highly moddable VR simulator from a top-class, successful producer—sounds like a perfect play, doesn’t it?

Well, it’s true! Warpfrog, after successfully launching Blade and Sorcery 1.0 earlier this year, is back in action with a boom! Warpfrog has announced that their next big adventure in the realm of VR is already in development.

Warpfrog

Blade & Sorcery is one of the most lovable in the VR space, thanks to its highly moddable controls. It is an immersive experience that has created a unique space for itself with its physics-based combat and sandbox-style gameplay.

Although there are no specific details as to what the new game will be like, one thing is assured: it will carry on the legacy of the original title. It will be highly moddable too, just like its predecessor, ensuring that players can customize their weapons and gameplay as and when they wish to.

In a recent interview, Warpfrog’s senior officials explained how this new game is being built with a completely new and revamped framework. They discussed how the old framework was pushed beyond its limits to prepare for early access. They further explained that this decision of building this game from the ground up has been a tough call but has added to their growth, as the team is now 30 members strong. This has marked a significant growth trajectory for the developers as they gear up to add another feather to their wings.

While Warpfrog refrained from sharing any details about their newest addition to the VR landscape, players can expect something as strong and innovative as Blade & Sorcery. Looking at Warpfrog’s dedication and expertise in bringing the newest technologies and super-immersive gameplay to the table, we can expect this game to be something different and exciting.
